Born on 1948 as Amri Athuman in Tanga Mzee Majuto passed on in Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam.
Mzee Majuto had earlier been flown to India in April for specialized treatment before sudden demise

On October 9th Tanzanian entertainment industry was yet again robbed off some great talent following the dismiss of producer Pancho Latino known to many as Mafia.
Mafia met his death after he drowned in the Indian Ocean at Mbudya Island in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.

Jack Simela was involved in a road accident on December 9th while he was coming from Morogoro Tanzania.

Other celebrities that passed on in 2018 includes artiste Eliud Sagini, one of the artistes behind Mat za Rongai ni zii hit.
Sagini was signed under Khaligraph Jones label Blue Ink Corps. He passed on 17th December after a short illness.
Swedish born veteran DJ cum producer Avicii was found dead in Muscat Oman on April 20th. Avicii died aged 28year after he was nominated for billboard music awards.
Ghanian dancehall artiste Ebony also passed away a few days before her 21st birthday after being involved in a grisly road accident.
