A few months after Tanzanian songstress was locked and subsequently released over alleged narcotic trafficking, the singer has revealed that a legendary artiste is out to defame her.
On her twitter handle, the artiste revealed that she is shocked that an artiste she has so much respect for is busy defaming her.
“Inasikitisha kwamba mtu ninayemheshimu na kumtambua kwenye hii saana kila kukicha jina langu mdomoni mwake kwa kashfa zisizoeleweka”(Its shocking that a person I respect in this industry is always badmouthing me everyday with baseless allegations) Mdee wrote.
Though Mdee did not reveal the name of the artiste who she alleges was defaming her, Mdee said that she would not engage the artiste.
“Siwezi kujibishana na wewe itakuwa utovu wa nidhamu baba.,” (I am not ready to engage in an exchange of words with him as that is lack of respect) The songstress added.
The songstress who recently featured in MTV shuga has had a rough start this year after the Dares Salaam RC Paul Makonda summoned her to appear at the police headquarters in Dares Salaam after linking her to narcotic abuse together with several Tanzanian celebrities an ordeal that saw her spend a few days in a police cell.
However the Songstress’s family defended her from the narcotic allegations and it is not clear if the said celebrity had a hand in her being alleged to being involved narcotics.
