Mombasa, KENYA: The Youth in Mombasa County have been challenged to actively and fully participate in leadership matters during this electioneering period.

Addressing the youths during a meeting at Koblenz hall, Mombasa on Tuesday , Nyali constituency IEBC co-ordinator Ms. Amina Mohammed said that the youth have a great potential of being leaders.

“Do not confine yourself at the grassroots level but instead contest for positions in the county assembly and other political seats during this electioneering period.” She said.

She also urged the youths to be their brother’s keeper by ensuring that they empower and uplift each other during the campaign period.

“ 80 per cent of people in this county are the youths and this means that they have a great potential for making right political choices,” she said.
