Harambee Starlets attacker Mwanahalima ‘Dogo’ Adam has said that Cameroon must fall when the two sides clash on Friday in the first round of Women African Cup of the Nation Qualifiers in Yaounde.

Speaking after a training session on Monday at Kasarani Annex, Dogo said that the team was in high spirits which showed that things in camp had been good.

Mwanahalima who plays in the Turkish Women’s Super League for Hakkarigücü Spor stated that they have what it takes to smash the Indomitable Lionesses as the squad has players with a lot of experience which is an added advantage.

“Having been part of the team that last qualified for WAFCON alongside other players I believe it is a good motivation for us to push the team again,” Dogo said.

The Beldine Odemba’s Charges will play on Friday, and then travel back for the return leg set to be played on Tuesday next week.

The winner after the two legs will secure automatic qualification for the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, hosted in Morocco.
