Former gubernatorial aspirant charged with defiling a minor

Machakos,KENYA:
Former Machakos governor aspirant Titus Ndundu was on Sunday arrested for allegedly defiling a 17-year-old girl.

The arrest happened at his rural home in Ikombe, Yatta constituency and he was locked up at Masii police station where he spent the night.

Titus Ndundu was charged on Monday before Machakos resident magistrate Irene Kahuya for having committed the crime on May 14th, 2018 in an undisclosed location where he denied the charges and was released on a bond of Sh100,000 bond with a surety of a similar amount.

Ndundu lost the gubernatorial seat in 2013 general election to Alfred Mutua; he had vied onParty of Democratic Unity(PDU).

His case will be heard on June 2018 with his lawyer making a request for the photos and any other details of the minor to help boost the case defense.
