Nairobi, KENYA: Kenya’s Telkom Orange successfully retained the Africa Cup of club championship by edging Ghana Revenue Authority 2-0 in the finals played at City Park stadium Nairobi on Sunday.
Jackline Mwangi and Terry Juma each scored as the local champions continued their dominance over the later having beaten them with a similar margin during the 2014 finals.
The title is Orange’s fifth in a row and a record of nine in total, most by any-side in the continent.
Elsewhere, Kenya missed the chance to claim all the titles after Kenya Police fall 3-2 to Eastern Company of Egypt in men’s finals.
The clash was decided on penalty shootouts after the two sides settled for a 0-0 stalemate in regulation time.
