A thrilling Africa Cup of Nations group stage concluded on Wednesday as the knockout stage is set to begin on Saturday 27th.
Hosts Ivory Coast, who were thrashed by Equatorial Guinea 4-0 in their final group game, squeezed through as best losers to keep their chances of winning the title for the third time after Zambia failed to secure a point against African giants Morocco in the final game of group F.
Namibia progressed to the knockout stages of the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in their history after a 0-0 draw with Mali securing the third place in group E with four points.
Tanzania who were also targeting the AFCON knockout stages for the first time were forced into a goalless draw against DR Congo and finished last in group F with two points.

Two heavyweights will clash in this stage as Nigeria faces Cameroon while defending Champions Cameroon will test the hosts Ivory Coast.
Morocco topped their group without conceding and will look to continue their fine form against South Africa.
After surprisingly winning Group A undefeated, Equatorial Guinea will challenge Guinea as Namibia who steps into this stage for the first time will face Angola.
Another entertaining match will be between Egypt and DR Congo. Egypt will be missing Mo Salah who is out due to injury problems.
Mali takes on Burkina Faso while Cape Verde battles Mauritania.
