Kinango Mp Gonzi Rai has told off Azimio party leaders over planned protests against the government.
According to Rai, the demos will not benefit Kenyans claiming opposition leaders have sinister agenda.
He claims Azimio leader Raila Odinga has no Kenya’s interest at heart apart from his own benefits.
“We should not allow to be taken into rounds like we don’t know what we are doing. A good student prepares well. The opposition should have done their homework to win elections:”, he said.
The Kinango Mp urged Kenyans to ignore calls for protests but instead let leaders find a lasting solution to the challenges affecting Kenyans.
“Remember it’s a process to change the government elected by Kenyans. Don’t be deceived because the courts pronounced the 2022 presidential election winner and there will be no other thing”, he added.
Odinga called for three days of anti-government protests every Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays.
14 people were reportedly killed during last weeks protests in several parts of the country.
