Bandari Football Club has fired Head Coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani.

The former Harambee Stars player was shown the door on Monday following the dismal performance by the club in the Kenyan Premier League.

We would like to sincerely thank Anthony Kimani for his service and dedication to the club during his tenure as our Head Coach. The sack came after the club only managed to collect one point from their last three matches after suffering 3-0 defeats twice; against AFC Leopards on Sunday 30th April 2023 and against Police FC in their Wednesday 26th April match.

Meanwhile, the club’s Technical Director Sheikh Twahir Muhiddin will take charge for the remainder of the season.

“We also want to assure our fans and stakeholders that the club remains steadfast in its commitment to achieving our goals and aspirations as a club. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to a successful future together,” read the statement.

The Dockers are currently at No.6 on the League Table with 40 points, having collected 22 points at home and 18 points in away matches.
