Mwatate United is set for revenge when they host Coastal Heroes in the Mozzart Cup at Dawson Mwanyumba Stadium in Wundanyi on Saturday.
The Wundanyi-based team manager Omar Mbaraka said they are keen to kick heroes out of the cup to qualify for the next round.
Heroes will be without three key players; defenders Hamisi Tole, Harun Junior, and midfielder James Mwanyoha, who are nursing injuries.
The winner will face either Premier League club Bandari or Administration Police in the round of sixteen.
The two sides in recent days have been very hostile following their physical clash in the National Super League.
Mwatate had hosted Coastal Heroes at the Dawson Mwanyumba Stadium in December 2022 where the visitors forced Mwatate to forfeit six points due to the team’s alleged failure to provide an ambulance.
