Bandari FC has suffered another blow after losing their first home game of the season 1-0 on Sunday against KCB.

The only coastal club in the top tier started the league at a high tempo having Stunned Sofapaka 2-1 at Mbaraki sports club in their opening match.

The dockers failed to secure a back-to-back victory after Nzoia Sugar forced them to a draw of 0-0 in the second match of the league in Nairobi.

The Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani’s charges hoped to return to winning ways against KCB to build their confidence in fighting for the title this season but the visitors smashed all three points in front of their fans at Mbaraki.

A goal from John Mwangi in the 30th minute was enough to give KCB their second victory of the season.

Bandari now remains with four points at seventh place and the next stop will be in Nairobi when they face Police FC on Saturday.

Elsewhere, defending champions Tusker enjoyed their third consecutive victory this season after securing a 1-0 victory against AFC Leopards at Moi Stadium, Kasarani on Sunday.
