Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho is to blame for Raila losing the presidential elections.

This is according to United Democratic Alliance’s gubernatorial candidate Hassan Omar.

Speaking at his Nyali residence on Monday, ahead of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) official announcement of the presidential elections, Hassan Omar said Joho’s behavior cost Raila Odinga the presidency.

“You should not insult Uhuru, but Joho. He has costed your ‘Baba‘ everything. He has costed him his base, he has costed him his dignity. In Mombasa he has costed us our port, he has costed us our future,” said Hassan Omar.

While admitting that he was the political son of Raila Odinga, Omar blamed the Azimio leader for putting Mombasa leaders in the same basket as Hassan Joho, Abu Joho, Mishi Mboko among other leaders whom he claims have been the downfall of Raila in Mombasa.

“You put us in the same basket with these people who have no interest in the public, they are misusing your name. They have costed you your victory today, you lost a lot of votes in many parts of the coast region,” Omar addressed Raila Odinga.

At the press conference, Omar alleged that Deputy President William Ruto will beat Raila Odinga with at least 200,000 votes to make him the 5th President of Kenya.
