Several families in Mikindani Estate, Jomvu constituency have been left homeless following a fire incident.
The blaze engulfed one wing of a rental apartment in Ganahola village on Wednesday afternoon.
According to residents, the cause of the fire is unknown. Firefighters from Mombasa County arrived to put out the blaze.
An official from Red Cross who requested anonymity, said they will offer assistance to the affected families.
“We arrived on the scene to assess the situation before our next course of action”, he said.
However, no deaths or injuries were reported following the blaze.
