France World-cup winner, Paul Pogba is now busy looking for a new home after Manchester United confirmed his departure on Wednesday.

The French international spent six years at old Trafford following the record signing of €89 million from Italian giants Juventus in 2016.

Pogba’s career at United has seen both blistering form and also marked by  fair amount of frustration over his form and fitness.

Manchester united wanted to keep the 29 year old but they couldn’t meet the midfielder’s demands at the beginning of the 2021/2022 season.

Pogba was not happy under Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjear but also was not convinced by the interim manager, Ralf Ranginick’s tactics and the plans of the new manager Eric Ten Hag.

In the beggining of 2020 pogba wanted to renew his contract when he sent multiple text to Ole but the Norwegian boss responded by insisting that he was waiting for information from the club’s board.

However, United’s director opted against this and instead triggered a
one-year extension on the player’s contract.

That meant that the Frenchman would be at the club through to the summer of 2022, but would ensure his salary remain unchanged.

This situation was said to have left the player frustrated and resulted in a change of mind.

Now Pogba has left the red devils for the second time in his career as a free agent after 226 appearances scoring 39 goals.

The era is over, but which colours would Pogba wear next season?

Here are some of the potential sides.

1. Juventus

Since his departure in 2016 the Serie A giants have been following the midfielder’s situation at united aiming to partner with him again.

The Bianconeri remain the favorites to land the Frenchman this season after meeting with his represtentatives this week.

Pogba also wants the club as he had a great career after joining them in 2012.

2. Real Madrid
The European champions been linked with Pogba more than once since Zidane took charge of the Spanish club.

Los Blanco’s still remain in contact with him and they can secure the deal if they are still interested in him.

The fact that Luca Modric and Toni Kroos are enjoying the best of their last seasons at Madrid, the LA Liga Champions may need another experienced midfielder to lead the role.

3. PSG
The French club has admired Pogba for a long time and they want to pair him  with with fellow Frenchman Kylian Mbappe at the club.

This is another option for Pogba as the club convinced Mbappe to extend his contract and still have a long term project to conquer in European competition it can be an added advantage to sign Pogba too.

4.Man City
Man city is the latest club to enter the race to sign Pogba from Manchester united.
Despite Pep denying the romours, City remain a potential club for Pogba.

The English Premier League Champions will be forced into the Summer transfer marker to replace Fernandinho and Pogba is one of the most qualified  replacements.
