Kenya has reported an outbreak of yellow fever, a mosquito-borne disease.

The health ministry said three people had already died from the disease in Isiolo county.

Acting director general of health Dr. Patrick Amoth said a total of 15 people were suspected of having the disease but only three had been confirmed infected.

The three incidents have been reported in the Merti and Garbatulla areas of Isiolo county.

Dr. Amoth also warned of all counties but listed Wajir, Garissa, Marsabit, Meru, Samburu, Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, West Pokot, and Turkana counties as the most likely to be affected by the outbreak.
