Gor Mahia and head coach Manuel Vaz Pinto have parted ways on mutual consent.
Pinto took over as Gor Mahia coach in January 2021, replacing ex-boss Roberto Oliveira whose qualifications were not within the CAF required, and was married from taking charge of K’Ogalo’s CAF matches.
Assistant coach Sammy Omolo will now be in charge of the team on an interim basis with his first assignment against Nairobi City Stars on 17th June.
Pinto led Gor Mahia to win the FKF Shield Cup against AFC Leopards, booking tickets to CAF Confederation Cup games.
