Deputy president William Ruto

ODM is now laying claim to “bottom -up economy” phrase.

According to Mvita Mp Abdulswamad Shariff, ODM was the first to champion the economic model being pushed by deputy president William Ruto.

He accused UDA party which is linked to Ruto of copying ODM’s models and phrases.

“Now they say more money should go to common Mwananchi, yet when we said so, they used to keep quiet. it’s what ODM was championing for but they thought we were crazy. Now we see them championing for the same”, he said.

Ruto has popularized the “bottom-up economy” phrase which he says is a model which will uplift millions of Kenyans from poverty and joblessness.

According to Ruto, millions of unemployed youth must be absorbed into the country’s transformational agenda.

The Mvita Mp also claimed the popularity of ODM continues to rise in the country as the 2022 general election nears.

” Lets go to the grassroots to popularize our ODM party even more”, he added.
