Kilifi senator Stewart Mazadyo is the new Senate Deputy Minority Leader.

Madzayo clinched the seat after Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala was removed from the position.

The move was executed during NASA Senate Parliamentary Group meeting which was held on Wednesday.

The removal comes amidst a disagreement from the NASA coalition members over Malala’s fate.

Malala’s trouble with the ODM leadership intensified when he reportedly supported ANC’s candidate in the last Matungu by-elections.

Minority leader James Orengo convened a meeting of NASA to endorse the removal of Malala.
