Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has reiterated he is going for the presidency in 2022.

He said nothing will stop him from fulfilling that dream. He said he is hopeful of achieveing his dream no matter how long it takes.

Speaking in Likoni, Joho said he is confident of beating Deputy President William Ruto for the top seat in next year’s General elections provided they are free and fair.

According to Joho, Ruto has sensed Kenyans will punish him for jubilee mistakes hence he has started distancing himself from it.

“I want to tell him to take full responsibility for the jubilee failures. He is second in command therefore he must carry the cross”, he added.

Joho also told off Dp Ruto for pushing his ‘wheelbarrow politics’ to the youths saying he has failed them.

“Why didn’t he give youths those wheelbarrows in 2013, 2014,2015,2016,2017,2018? Why now?” he posed.

The Governor also warned his critics among them Malindi Mp Aisha Jumwa to stop rubbishing his 2022 prospects.

Ïf they are men enough, let them also declare their candidature instead of dismissing me”, he added.
