The Kenya Ports Authority has dismissed a mass recruitment advertisement that has been making rounds on social media.
According to the Authority, the advertisement which announced a mass recruitment of 4,189 positions at the Lamu, Malindi, Kilifi Mtwapa, Kiunga Shimoni, Funza and Vanga ports, is fake.
“The Authority wishes to advise the public to disregard a fake notice on job opportunities circulating online.
Those seeking employment should always check our website to ascertain the validity of the adverts before engaging further,” said KPA.
The jobs advertised in the fake announcement include internal auditors, human resource managers, lab technologists, accountants, truck drivers, risk managers, social workers, teachers with TSC numbers, cashiers among others.
