The Catholic Archdiocese of Mombasa will hold a requiem mass and burial of the late Chaani priest on Wednesday 16th December 2020.
Rev. Fr. Joseph Mwatela, who until his death was the Parish Priest of Chaani Catholic parish in Mombasa, died on Saturday 5th November.
The requiem mass will be held at 10 am followed by the burial at Mbaraki cemetery from 12:30 pm.
“Daily votive masses are being celebrated at the Chaani and Chonyi parishes. For Chaani, masses are scheduled for 6:30 am and 5:30 pm while at Chonyi it’s at 5 pm,” said the church.
The requiem mass will be held at the Holy Ghost Cathedral.
