Veteran Vioja Mahakamani prosecutor laughs off news of his ‘death’

Just a few days after news surfaced on social that veteran Vioja Mahakamani actor GibsonGathu had passed away, a section of the former shows actors have laughed off the news.

Gibson who used to act as the no-nonsense prosecutor in the show that ran for over a decade was reported to have died after various Facebook users posted photos of a funeral claiming that it was Gibson’s funeral.

In a video posted by fellow actor Makokha Makacha, the actor is seen smiling as his fellow actors make fun of his belly arguing that he does not look like someone who is just about to die.

Earlier in the week, the actor denied the rumors saying it was his friend and fellow actor Mzee Kihara who had been promoted to glory.

“People are saying prosecutor of Vioja Mahakamani is dead, I’m alive it’s my friend Mzee Kihara who died, I’m shocked to see my photos on Facebook saying prosecutor has died,” Gathu said.

Gathu is among a group of actors who kept viewers glued to the hilarious program till 2017 when they were replaced by a set of new actors who include Dr. Ofweneke and Nice Githinji.

The hilarious actors include: Olexander Josephat (Peter Sankale), Mama Kayai (Mary Khavere), the late Mzee Ojwang Hatari (Benson  Wanjau), Ondiek Nyuka Kwota (Hirum Mungai), Gibson Kamau (Prosecutor), Mama G aka Judge (Lucy Wangui) and Alfonse Dot Makacha Dot Makokha (Mathias Keya).
