Two women allegedly found in possession of 925.9 grams of heroin worth over 2 million were charged at a Mombasa court on Thursday.
Salima Bakari aged 62 years and Zeinab Abdi denied the charges before principal magistrate Yusuf Shikanda.
The suspects were arrested on Monday in Mlaleo area in Kisauni within Mombasa County.
Shikanda directed the accused persons to be released on a bond of Sh.500,000 or cash bail Sh.200,000
The case is to be mentioned on 16 May.
