Bad day for Chelsea as Man City whoops them 6-0

Sunday night was a bad day for Chelsea fans across the world as Manchester City welcomed their visitors to Etihad Stadium with a 6-0 thrashing.

An early goal by Raheem Sterling opened the scores in the fourth minute, with Sergio Aguero making it 2-0 in the 13th minute.

Six minutes later Aguero managed to find the net again to make it 3 goals to none with İlkay Gündoğan adding another in the 25th minute to close first half scores.

Action at the Etihad stadium was not over as Sergio Aguero netted a fifth goal in the 56th minute shuttering Chelsea’s dreams.

Another Raheem Sterling goal in the 80th minute saw the visitor’s hope of recovering from the thrashing dwindle.

The win pushed Manchester City back to the top of the table with Liverpool coming in second both with 65 points. Tottenham maintains third position with 60 points while Manchester United closes the top four slots with 51 points.
