Dp Ruto vows killers of Kenneth Kamto will be arrested

Kilifi,KENYA:Former Kilifi County deputy Governor Kenneth Kamto was buried on Wednesday in his Rabai home amid calls for his killers to be brought to book.

Deputy president William Ruto and other Coast Mps including Aisha Jumwa (Malindi) and Khatib Mwashetani (Lunga Lunga) attended the final send off of Kamto .

Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi and his Mombasa counterpart were also present.

Ruto vowed that the killers will be arrested and prosecuted.

“Already a special police team has been set to track the killers,” he said.

On her part  Jumwa blamed police for laxity saying they have not put any effort to arrest the killers.

Jumwa condemned the murder terming Kamto as a promising leader whose life was cut short before he could realize his dreams.

” Some officers are sleeping on their job here in Mombasa. We demand to know who killed Kamto and why,” she said.

Kamto was shot dead at his residence in Nyali,Mombasa by unknown gunmen on 11th December.

The motive of the killing is still unknown.
