Four Egyptians detained in Mombasa

Mombasa, KENYA: Four Egyptians have been detained in Mombasa for allegedly being in the country illegally.

The four were arrested at the Moi International Airport in Mombasa on Tuesday.

Yasser Mohammed and three others will spend another night in police custody after court differed their plea.

Mombasa Resident Magistrate Martin Rabera ordered the suspects be taken back to central police station until Thursday when they are expected to respond to the charges against them.

Court differed plea after both the lawyer representing the suspects and prosecution agreed to be added more time to allow them get more information from Egypt.
