Mombasa, KENYA: A 14-year-old boy has been arraigned at the Shanzu Law Courts today with charges of sodomy to a fellow student.
The court heard that the accused committed the acts between 1st September and 28th October.
The accused is alleged to have committed the act at Kongowea Primary school.
A doctor who conducted a psychiatric test on the boy on behalf of the court gave conflicting reports.
Senior Principal Magistrate Diana Mochache has ordered parents of the accused to take him for a psychiatric evaluation at the Mathare Mental Hospital in Nairobi.
Mentioning will take place on an unspecified date after the evaluation results are out.
