31 dead,dozens of celebrity homes razed down in California

31 people have been confirmed dead in wildfires that have ravaged the state of California.

The two wildfires the Northern California campfire and Southern California’s Woolsey fire have left 228 people unaccounted for according to CNN.

300,000 have been displaced in the infernos that have razed more than 190,000 acres.

Amongst those whose homes have been razed down include celebrities.

Actor Gerald Butler is among those whose homes have been razed down after a successful evacuation.

“Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California. Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit, and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LAFD. If you can, support these brave men and women at http://SupportLAFD.org .” The 48-year-old actor tweeted alongside a photo of his razed down house.

American media reported that reality star Kim Kardashian and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney were among those evacuated to safety.

Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner’s ex Caitlyn Jenner is among those celebrities whose houses were razed down, however, she posted on Instagram saying that she, her girlfriend and their dogs were safe.

Wrecking ball singer Miley Cyrus and her fellow RnB singer Robbie Thickie also lost their houses to the inferno.

However, both celebrities confirmed they are safe.

Other celebrities who have been evacuated include Lady Gaga, singer Jessica Simpson and actor Orlando Bloom.

Famous property that has so far been destroyed in the inferno include the house where the reality show, The Bachelor is filmed and Paramount Western Town ranch which is the location where series Westwood and Dr Quinn Medicine woman are filmed.
