Mombasa,KENYA:Three robbery suspects nabbed in Mombasa over the weekend were on Monday charged in court.
Daniel Kariuki, Nancy Wanjiru and Teresia Wangui were charged with robbery with violence and pleaded not guilty.
The Court heard that the suspects jointly robbed Margret Maundu Sh.40,000 on Saturday at Bima Towers in Mombasa and threatened to use actual violence against the complainant.
Mr. Kariuki is also alleged to have falsely presented himself as a Kenya police officer and arrested Ms Maundu while Wangui impersonated a doctor assumed to treat Maundu.
