Lamu,KENYA:An electrical engineering student at the Lamu Polytechnic has been reported missing after he went swimming in the Indian Ocean.
Juma Mohamed,23 was with a group of about 30 students from the institution who had gone for a swimming expedition at Shella Beach in Lamu before he was reported missing at around 10 am Friday.
Lamu West OCPD Juma Londo has confirmed the incident and said a team of divers and marine police have already commenced a search for the missing student or his body.
