Sensational bongo artiste Ali Kiba has been sued by one of his baby mama for child support.
This comes barely a month after the star spent millions of shillings in two weddings in Kenya and Tanzania.
Hadija, the businesswoman who sells second-hand clothes in Tanzania, filled the case at Kisutu residents magistrate’s court in Dar es Salaam with the help of Women’s Legal Aid Center(WLAC).
Hadija wants Tshs460,000 (Ksh 20,000) every month for child maintenance and Tsh 950,000 (Ksh 42,000) for their daughter’s fees.
“Kutokana na sheria ya watoto ya mwaka 2009, mdaiwa anatakiwa kutoa huduma kila mwezi. Chakula laki 150,000/=, matunda 50,000/=, chakula cha ziada 50,000/=, michezo na burudani kwa watoto 100,000/=, nguo tsh 60,000/= na matibabu tsh 50,000/= ambapo jumla ni Tsh 460,000/=” her demands read.
Court reports indicate that their daughter was born on January 2013 in Mikocheni hospital Dar es Salaam and Kiba is registered as the father.
Kiba, a father to three children from different women will be forced to pay Hadija Ksh 280,000 for 14 months beginning January 2017 that he had not paid for child upkeep should the court rule in favor of the baby mama.
Ali Kiba is yet to respond to the matter.
