Saturday 22nd saw hundreds of Bango fans throng at the Coast Palace in Mariakani,Kilifi county for a concert dubbed ‘Mdobwedo night’ convened by Baraka FM.
The concert which started at 8.00 pm till dawn saw more than 500 fans attend the event .
Revelers were treated to thrilling performances from leading Bango music bands the Utamaduni band and Kaya international.
Fans also got an opportunity to interact with their favourite Baraka FM presenters while taking selfies with them at the red carpet.
Rose Kadzo one of the revelers who spoke to Baraka FM said she enjoyed the show.
“I really had fun and would like radio stations to organize more Bango concerts as its is music we have a connection with,” Kadzo told Baraka FM.
Mdobwedo organized by Baraka FM gives fans an opportunity to see their favourite Bango music bands perform.
Past ‘Mdobwedo night’ editions have seen fans entertained by legendary Mzee Ngala of Bango sounds and Asili band.
