Joho branded vehicle among those impounded over narcotic trafficking

Mombasa,KENYA:Anti narcortics Police in Mombasa have arrested seven drug trafficking suspects and impounded seven vehicles.

Detectives also recovered half a kilogram of heroine and sh.4.5 million in cash.

10,000 US dollars were also impounded during the crackdown.

Coast region police boss Larry Kieng on Monday told Baraka FM that the suspects were arrested in Mombasa and Malindi.

He did not disclose the nationality of the suspects.

One of the impounded cars at the Coast Region police headquarters, has been branded with Governor Joho’s image;campaigning for his re-election.

“We arrested seven person’s and we produce them to courts but we asked for more time so that we complete the investigations,”said the police boss.
