Late last month American rapper Jay-z released his 14th studio album 4:44 which was released by his entertainment company Roc Nation.
A few weeks before the album was released, the rapper released teasers and one of them featured Oscar award winning Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o.
The 30 second teaser titled MaNyfaCedGod features the Oscar winner fighting emotions in distress while kneeling till she cannot take it anymore and bursts into tears.
The album is a visual album which was released exclusively customers subscribed to Sprint and Tidal.
In 2014 Jay-z Mentioned the Kenyan actress in his hit single “We made it” much to the delight of Lupita who revealed in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel live that she felt like “The coolest kid”.
