Nairobi, KENYA: Kenyan Premier League bigwigs Gor Mahia are set to appoint a new head coach before the end of the week according to sources privy to the announcement.
As confirmed by the club’s Organizing Secretary Judith Nyangi, on her Facebook page, K’ogalo fans are likely to know of their new tactician this Friday if all system goes as planned.
Words from the Green Army camp disclose that the hierarchy has settled for two foreign coaches, English manager Dylan Kerr and former Italian international defender Stefano Maccopi.
It has been reported that negotiations are ongoing after which one of the tacticians will be appointed to steer Gor Mahia in their pursuit of reclaiming the KPL title they surrendered to Tusker last season.
The club is currently lead by stand in coach Zedekia ‘Zico’ Otieno who replaced former coach Brazilian Jose Marcelo Ze Maria, who called it quit a fortnight ago in the surprising turn of event.

Gor Mahai will tackle Bandari FC on Sunday in the second round of the Gotv Shield tournament before travelling to Tanzania where they will play English Premier League club Everton on July 13 in a friendly match.
