Waweru denies involvement in plot to frustrate Ruto in 2022

Nairobi,KENYA:Dagoretti South member of parliament who is also  the chair of  the central Kenya parliamentary caucus has denied claims that he is  among Jubilee leaders from central Kenya who are planning a major fallout from Jubilee party by blocking deputy president William Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

In a media briefing at parliamentary buildings  on Tuesday Waweru termed such information as propaganda whose intention is to divide the  Jubilee party.

He denied attending any meeting with other central Kenya leaders and tycoons to mastermind blockage of Rutos 2022 presidential bid accusing him of interfering with the just concluded Jubilee party nominations in central Kenya.

“For the avoidance of  doubt, i am a staunch supporter of the deputy president and our relationship both personal and politically is very warm.”He said

“Furthermore, i am not even aware of the existence of any political group that is hell-bent to frustrate the deputy president in central Kenya.”He added

He blamed his political enemies for masterminding such information to gain political mileage.

It has been alleged that Dennis Waweru,Kiambu Governor H.E. William Kabogo, Peter Kenneth, Jamleck Kamau, Priscilla Nyokabi, Charles Kanyi  aka Jaguar, Cecily Mbarire, Kembi Gitura and other tycoons from central Kenya are planning to frustrate Ruto politically.
