Mombasa,KENYA:On Friday  evening hundreds  of Bango music fans were treated to an amazing concert at the Mdobwedo night concert which was organized by Baraka Fm and went down at the Masaai resort in Bamburi.

Doors opened at 8.00am and the bands in performance were Bango sounds by legendary Bango star Mzee Ngala , Utamaduni band and Kaya international.

Mzee Ngala who spoke to Baraka fm said he enjoyed the day and advised upcoming bango performers to take bango music seriously so that they could sustain themselves as performers.

“Today has been a great day.. “ He said .

“My advise to upcoming Bango musicians is to take this career seriously like any other career and that’s the only way they can sustain themselves.” He added.

Frank Eliza one of the revelers who attended the concert said he enjoyed the concert and urged more people to appreciate traditional music.

“Young generation should  to appreciate traditional music as it is our culture and one we are proud off.” Eliza said.

The MC’s at the event were Mnyazi Kakinda who is the host of Mdobwedo reloaded and the lane 254’s Mbaruk Mwalimu.

Fans got and opportunity to mingle and take selfies with their favourite presenters on the show.
