Nairobi, KENYA: Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has denied allegations made on social media that he has been bribed billions of shillings to leave NASA.

In a media briefing, at Wiper party headquarters in Nairobi on Friday after he received leaders from Meru county who defected to his party, Kalonzo dispelled such allegations terming them as rumours aimed at bringing divisions in the coalition.

“I stand on a platform of integrity, I will repeat integrity, look at me and my colleagues and tell me whether I have been involved in any scandal.” Kalonzo said.

On Nyenze saga, Kalonzo distanced himself from assertions made by minority leader in the National Assembly Francis Nyenze that he was giving NASA technical committee 7 days to declare him as NASA presidential flag bearer or else the party will quit from the coalition, terming such assertion as his own opinion and did not represent any view of the party.

“When a member expresses an opinion I want to urge Kenyans not to become anxious, because honorable Francis Nyenze had an altercation with Midiwo. It should not be seen that it is a Wiper democratic party opinion.”He said.

He indicated that the party is committed to see the coalition clinching power accusing the Jubilee administration for failing to deliver its pledges to Wananchi.

Meanwhile, Kalonzo received labour party sec general Peter ole Musei who ditched the party and joined Wiper which he will use to vie for Kajiado north parliamentary seat .
