Mombasa, KENYA: Modern Coast Rangers bounced back to its winning ways with a 3-1 humbling of Bidco United in the National Super League match staged at Mbaraki Stadium, Mombasa on Thursday.
After suffering a 1-0 defeat last weekend away at Vihiga United, Rangers made known its winning intention by taking the lead just five minutes after the first whistle, thanks to David Orem’s strike.
Bidco would then set a tightly contested first half by retaliating 12 minutes later forcing the first 45 minutes to end squarely with both teams holding to their own.
Rangers, however, proved too strong to be kept at bay, romping into victory with goals apiece from Francis Ocholla and Athman Mzee handing Bidco their second defeat in succession.
The victory sailed Rangers to fourth in the table standings on eight points from five matches, while Bidco dropped to 15th.
