Kilifi,KENYA:Kilifi County Deputy speaker Teddy Mwambire has condemned the government for withdrawing security detail attached to Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi.

In a facebook post, Mwambire alleged the government is using Kilifi south Mp Gideon Mung’aro to profile leaders with a view to intimidate them.

He also wondered why Joho and Kingi’s security was withdrawn yet other governors and speakers are still enjoying security services.

“All Governors and Speakers could have undergone the same treatment at the same time”, he said on his facebook post.

According to the deputy speaker, Jubilee government is too desperate and is executing unconstitutional orders.

“The Jubilee Government is too desperate even in executing these unconstitutional orders imagine! It’s quite a big shame for our great country’, he lamented.

“For fear of total loss and desperation, the misguided strategists resolved to use fear, intimation, malice, open hatred, falsehoods and half truths against anyone ”, he added.

Mwambire also said the government will be held responsible if anything happened to the two governors.
