The two were among 11 people who were travelling in the boat from Kilifi County to Jomvu in Mombasa Sunday evening.
Mombasa County police commander Johstone Ipara told Baraka FM that six people were rescued while other three swam to safety.
‘The boat was transporting familiesmembers before the boat capsized’said Ipara.
Police are searching two people reported missing.
