ONE person has died after the walls of his house caved in during the heavy rains in Junda, Kisauni Constituency.
According to eye witnesses, a heavy landslide caused the caving in while the deceased was sound asleep.
“By the time we went to help, he had already breathed his last”, said another eye witness.
Heavy rains are pounding Mombasa and other coastal counties.
Mombasa County Department of Transport and Infrastructure has urged residents to move to safer areas as the rains continue to pound.
