Kenya wins bid to host 2027 AFCON

Kenya will be hosting the 2027 African Cup of Nations alongside Tanzania and Uganda.

Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda submitted a bid to host the 2027 AFCON under the #EAPamoja bid.

The three countries will now be hosting the 36th edition of the Confederation of African Football games.

The Joint East African Bid beat another joint bid from West Africa which comprised Nigeria and Benin, while Algeria pulled out from the competition.

Morocco will host the 35th edition Next year.
