KSSSA: Kaya Tiwi beaten 57-26 in girls netball, Serani go down 1-0 in day one

Kaya Tiwi suffered a 57-26 loss in girls’ netball on day one of the Nationals of the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) games in Kakamega.

The Kwale County girls team was beaten by Bukokholo Girls from Bungoma County 57-26 in girls netball.

Other teams who suffered a loss in the girls netball category are Kinale who were beaten 67-21 by Oyugi Ogango and Andersen who were beaten 29-28 by Syumile.

Hon Amin suffered a humiliating loss after taking a 65-3 beating from St. Dorcas.

Meanwhile, the first day of the boys football was dramatic as two teams; Matiliku Boys and Khorof Harar Boys, suffered an 8-0 defeat.

Mombasa’s own Serani were beaten 1-0 by Dagoretti while Agoro Sare beat Kirangari 2-1.

Matiliku Boys were beaten 8-0 by St Anthony’s while their counterparts Khorof Harar Boys were beaten 8-0 by Shanderema.

The games are running from the 5th to 12th of August at Kakamega High School.
