Harambee Stars Captain Michael Olunga has once again clinched the Golden Boot award for the second season in a row.

Olunga won the title after scoring four goals in the final game of the Qatar Stars League ending the season with 22 goals.

Michael Olunga’s side Al Duhail thrash Al Shamal 5-2, winning the league for the 8th time with 51 points, two above second-place Al Arabi after the 22 rounds of the campaign.

The Harambee Stars skipper won the league title with Al Duhail for the first time since joining the club back in 2021.

Olunga’s four strikes were enough to smash the award for the second consecutive season away from his closest competitor, Omar Al Somah of Al Arabi, who scored 19 goals.

The 29-year-old has also been nominated for player of the season and he is the favorite to be declared a winner having missed it last season.

The former Gor Mahia and Girona attacker won the golden boot last season with 24 goals.
