President William Ruto has appointed Bishop David Oginde as the new Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Chairperson.
The former Presiding Bishop at the Christ is the Answer Ministry (CITAM) will serve as Chair of EACC for the next three years.
“IN EXERCISE of the powers by section 10 (5) of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2011, I, William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, appoint DAVID ADANG OGINDE (DR.) to be the Chairperson of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, for a period of six (6) years,” read Gazette Notice No.5654 dated 29th April 2023.
Oginde takes over from Eliud Wabukhala who served for six years.
The President also appointed Martin Otieno Ogindo to be the Chairperson of the Kenya Fish Marketing Authority.
Ogindo will be serving as Chairperson of KFMA for the next three years.
