Primary and secondary school learners will report to school on the 23rd of this month for the first term of the 2023 academic year.
The term will run for 13 weeks with a three-day half-term break in March from the 23rd to the 26th.
According to the Ministry of Education 2023 Calender, learners will close for two weeks on the 22nd of April and then resume for the second term on the 8th of May 2023.
The second term will also be 13 weeks long with a three-day half-term break from 29th June to 2nd July.
Schools will then close for two weeks from 12th to 27th August and then re-open for the 3rd term on the 28th of August.
Term three will be ten weeks long.
Candidates will sit for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) from the 6th to the 9th of November with their secondary counterparts sitting for their exams from the 10th of November to the 1st of December.
