The Kenya-Belgium Trade Symposium will take place in Mombasa from Thursday 17th November 2022.
Three days event aims to increase trade between Kenya and Belgium by highlighting opportunities and fostering innovation.
“Ahead of this important event, I paid a courtesy call to Ambassador Peter Maddens of the Kingdom of Belgium at the Embassy in Nairobi. Our discussions dwelt on areas of sustainable cooperation,” said Mombasa Governor Abdullswamad Sheriff Nassir.
“We look forward to deepening our partnerships for the benefit of citizens,” he added.
Earlier Governor Abdullswamad had paid a courtesy call to the Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade and Industry Moses Kuria at his offices in Nairobi
“My vision for developing Mombasa County shall be pegged on Public Private Partnerships to raise the necessary finances. This is why I have been supervising the financial reform of the County Government of Mombasa,” said the Governor.
“We look forward to the national government’s support in our efforts to spur value addition industry as well as manufacturing in Mombasa County,” he added.
