A man in Mombasa County was lynched by a mob after he allegedly stabbed a four-year-old girl.
Irate members of the public killed the man identified as Masha at Kwabulo area in Nyali Constituency, before setting his body on fire.
Police moved the body of the deceased suspect to the coast general hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Four-year-old Rashid Sofia was rushed to Coast General Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. The incident which occurred at around 10:30 am on Thursday was reported at Kadzandani police station.
