Inter Milan has decided to part ways with former Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez in a mutual consent after weeks of negotiations between both parties.
The Chilean international had a one year contract remaining with the Serie A side but he was not in Simone Inzaghi’s plans and that was the only option as he was shown his exit door at San Siro.
Sanchez who also wore the Manchester United shirt back in 2019 is now a free agent to join any club he wishes for the coming campaign.
Romelu Lukaku’s decision to re-join the club on loan from Chelsea may be seen as the reason why the 33-year old was no longer needed.
Sanchez is reportedly close to agreeing to a deal with Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille where he will link up with fellow Arsenal star Matteo Guendouzi.
